David D. Redekop was born on May 4th, 1825 in Rosenthal  Chortitza  Ukraine.  David D. Redekop's father was David W. Redekopp and his mother was Katharina C. Wieler.  His paternal grandfather was Wilgelm D. Redekopp and his paternal grandmother is Maria Rempel. He had five brothers and ten sisters, named Wilgelm D. Redekopp, David D. Redekopp, Peter D. Redekop, Gerhard D. Redekop, Gerhard D. Redekop, Anna Redekop, Maria Redekop, Katharina Redekopp, Maria D. Redekop, Helena D. Redekop, Eliesabeth Redekop, Elisabeth D. Redekop, Anna D. Redekopp, Margaretha D. Redekop and Margaretha D. Redekop.  He was the eighth youngest of the sixteen children.  He died at the age of 84 on July 28th, 1909 in Burwalde  Chortitza  Ukraine.
